Sex is an important part of adult relationships. Don't let Vaginal Relaxation keep you from a satisfying sex life.

What is Vaginal Relaxation?
The muscles of the Abdomen and Pelvic Floor (specifically the Pubococcygeus or "PC" muscle) are the main supporting structures of the vagina.

Vaginal Relaxation is the weakening or stretching of these muscles to where they no longer perform their function effectively. The result of these muscles losing their tone and tightness is an increase in the inner diameter of the vaginal canal. This in turn creates an environment of reduced pressure and friction during intercourse.

Female sexual gratification is dependant upon friction generated within the vagina. The nerve endings within the vagina become stimulated due to contact with the penis or any object. These sensations become more intense as pressure and friction increase. On the other hand, when pressure and friction are decreased, this leads to a state of drastically reduced sexual pleasure for both partners.

A Common Problem
Vaginal Relaxation is more common than you think. Over 70 million women in the US and UK alone suffer from Vaginal Relaxation. There are many causes of Vaginal Relaxation and women of all ages may experience Vaginal Relaxation.
